
Volleyball: Women’s African Clubs Championship – Day Four Summary
The Women’s African Clubs Championship continued on Thursday at Al Ahly’s headquarters in Cairo, with 18 teams vying for supremacy in the continental tournament, which runs from April 11-24.
In Group A, Ethiopia’s National Alcohol triumphed over CO Descartes with a dominant 3-0 victory.
Later in the day, hosts Al Ahly SC also claimed a 3-0 win, defeating Mayo Kani Evolution of Cameroon.
In Group B, Kalibi Volleyball Club of Ghana secured a 3-0 win over Gender Light of Burundi. Sococim of Senegal followed suit with another 3-0 victory, beating VC La Loi of DR Congo.
In Group C, Club Féminin de Carthage of Tunisia triumphed 3-0 against Nigeria Customs Service.
Meanwhile, Directorate of Criminal Investigations of Kenya defeated Les Aigles du Congo 3-0.
In Group D, Kenya Commercial Bank rounded off the day with a 3-0 victory over ARSU National Volleyball Club of Seychelles.
