
Walid Soliman Scores His 21st Goal in African Competitions
Our veteran Walid Soliman scored Al Ahly's second goal in our 4-0 victory over AS SONIDEP in the second leg of the CAF Champions League round of 32.
Soliman cemented his name as the club's fourth top goalscorer in African competitions, having scored 20 goals for the Red Eagles.
Our current President Captain Mahmoud El Khatib is our leading top goalscorer in the African competitions with 37 goals and he is followed by Mohamed Abou Trika and Emad Moteb, who scored 32 goals and 28 goals respectively.
Walid is the 7th top goalscorer in the African competitions when it comes to the ranking of the players who scored for the Egyptian clubs, scoring 21 goals, including a goal with Petrojet.
Lastly, Walid shares the position with Haras El Hdoud’s former striker Ahmed Abdelghany.
