Our defender Yasser Ibrahim expressed his happiness after defeating Wydad Casablanca 3-1 on Friday night at Cairo International Stadium to win the tie 5-1 on aggregate. This victory took us to the CAF Champions League final for the 13th time in history.

“We have achieved our goal of reaching the final. We have a huge desire to win the title and make the fans happy.” Yasser said.

Yasser scored our third goal in the game and he was one of the best players in the game.

Yasser added “We had much respect for Wydad. They are one of the best teams in Africa but we had more desire to reach the final. We won the first game in Morocco 2-0 but we stayed focused and concentrated to win the second game at home to reach the final.”
