Al Ahly resumed training at the club’s El-Gezira headquarters on Monday, with goalkeeper and captain Mohamed El Shenawy taking part after missing the last match against Aigle Noir due to fatigue and a bout of flu.

Al Ahly resumed training on Monday evening at El-Tetsh Stadium as the team began preparations for the upcoming Egyptian Premier League fixture against Al Ittihad of Alexandria, scheduled for Wednesday.

Al Ahly’s first football team completed their final preparations on Friday ahead of Saturday’s CAF Champions League Round of 32 first-leg match against Burundi’s Aigle Noir.
