El Khatib presents Al Ahly shirt to Vodafone Egypt CEO at landmark partnership ceremony

Al Ahly president Mahmoud El Khatib presented an Al Ahly shirt to Vodafone Egypt Chief Executive and Managing Director Mohamed Abdallah, who also serves as Regional CEO for International Markets at Vodafone Group, during a ceremony marking the club's landmark investment agreement with the telecommunications company.

The event celebrated the signing of the historic investment deal, under which Vodafone secured the naming rights to the club's new stadium and became the club's principal shirt sponsor for the next four years.

The ceremony was attended by Al Ahly's board of directors, Youth and Sports Minister Gohar Nabil, several cabinet ministers, the boards of Al Ahly Football Company, Al Ahly Sports Facilities Company and Red Castle Company, Vodafone representatives, and prominent figures from the sports, business and media sectors.

The agreement represents a major milestone for sports investment, helping maximise commercial revenues and bringing the club's long-standing ambition of building a world-class stadium closer to reality.

The partnership further strengthens its position as one of the region's leading sports institutions through a long-term alliance with one of the world's largest companies.
