Important Win Tonight Away from Home

Alahly, Egyptian Premier League, Football

The Red Eagles put on a great performance tonight and managed to secure a 2-0 victory over Enppi in Matchday 12 of the Egyptian Premier League.

After tonight’s win, we added another three important points to our tally.

We are currently sitting at top of the table with 30 points, having the strongest defense and attack.

First Half

We started the first half with frontline pressure as we were searching to break the deadlock early.

We had our first chance in the 5th minute, but Enppi’s goalkeeper managed to block Mohamed Sherif’s shot.

We kept pushing to score the early opener, and we had another chance in the 13th minute.

Afsha sent a beautiful pass to Hussien El Shahat inside the box, but his shot was blocked by Enppi’s defense.

The Red Eagles kept searching to score, but Enppi’s defenders stood their ground and managed to clear all our chances as the first half ended with a goalless draw.

Second Half

The second half started and we kept putting the same pressure to score the opener. After missing several attempts, we managed to take the lead, thanks to Afsha’s efforts in the 59th minute.

Amr El Soulia sent a sensational pass to Afsha, who dribbled past the defender and the goalkeeper, then delivered the ball into the back of the net.

In the 73rd minute, Afsha was close to putting his name again on the scoring sheet. He received the ball at the edge of the box and tried his luck, but his shot went over the bar.

Aliou Dieng was on a good run of form tonight and he managed to score a beautiful goal in the 77th minute.

Dieng received the ball in the midfield and managed to dribble past Enppi's players before firing a sensational shot into the top left corner.

Marcel Koller, our head coach, used his bench in the 83rd minute, as Ramy Rabia, Bruno Savio, and Shady Hussien joined the game instead of Mohamed Hany, Ahmed Abdelkader, and Mohamed Sherief.

Two minutes later, Ahmed Nabil Koka and Moustafa Saad entered the field instead of Amr El Soulia and Afsha.

The minutes went on and we kept trying to add the third goal until the referee blew his final whistle to announce an important win for the Red Eagles.
