Koller, Attia, and Cristo reflect on reaching Egyptian Cup final

Marcel Koller, our head coach, expressed how happy he is after tonight’s victory against Enppi in the Egyptian Cup semi-final, adding that it’s a well-deserved win for the Red Eagles.

“We put on a complete and serious performance. We played very well in the first half and created chances. I’m very grateful for the win tonight, and I’m so proud of the boys they got the job done, and did what they had to do to earn their place in the Egyptian Cup Final,”

“Team work is our secret to get the job done in any competition we get involved in as well as we treat every match as the most important one until we earn what we came for, also reaching the final is a great opportunity to be crowned with another trophy.”

Our players, Mohamed Dhaoui Cristo and Marwan Attia also spoke after tonight’s victory, and how delightful and proud they are over the win tonight, also they talked about how the Red Eagles dominated the game and how determined they were to reach the Cup final.

Mohamed Cristo

“It was a great match and the atmosphere was spectacular, but what's most important is that we won and booked our place in the Egyptian Cup final. We dominated the game, as we scored a penalty and we found ourselves ahead. We managed to keep pushing on and get the win with a big score, and I’ll always put my all in every game because all what I’m seeking for is to help my teammates win games.”

Marwan Attia

“We were very well prepared and focused for this game and we knew we had to earn this win tonight, because our only goal is to achieve victory and get to the Egyptian Cup Final and be crowned with the title. I’m so proud of the performance and we need to maintain the same path. Also I’m so happy for my teammates Modeste and Emam for scoring for the first time tonight. They did a great job.”
