Al Ahly’s senior football team trained at the club’s headquarters on Sunday as preparations continued for their Egyptian Premier League match against Pyramids FC.
Players began the session with a series of physical exercises in the gym before head coach Jess Thorup delivered a tactical briefing.
The squad then carried out technical drills on the pitch, with the session concluding in an intense practice match involving all players.
Under Danish coach Thorup, Al Ahly will also play a friendly as part of their preparations for the league’s resumption.
The Cairo side are set to face Pyramids FC in the fourth round of the final phase of the Egyptian Premier League on 27 April.
