The Al Ahly SC Board of Directors, headed by Captain Mahmoud El Khatib, will hold a major celebration Thursday evening, to honor the men’s and women’s handball teams for their recent achievements.
The ceremony follows the men’s handball team’s triumph in the African Club Championship, held in Angola, where they claimed the title for the fourth consecutive time and the ninth time in the club’s history.
The team also won the bronze medal at the IHF Men’s Club World Championship, recently hosted by Egypt.
The Al Ahly Board of Directors will also celebrate the women’s first handball team following their victory in the African Club Championship, held in Angola.
This marked the second time in the club’s history that the women’s team has won the title.
Both teams continue to achieve outstanding success, proudly representing Al Ahly and raising the club’s profile in continental and international competitions.
