Al Ahly defender Amr El Gazzar has been diagnosed with a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and a medial meniscus tear, first-team doctor Ahmed Gaballah confirmed.
Gaballah said scans the player underwent this morning revealed the injuries.
The Al Ahly medical chief added that the club is currently working to determine a date for El Gazzar’s surgery.
