
Al Ahly men’s table tennis team crowned league champions
Al Ahly SC men’s table tennis team have been crowned Egyptian league champions after defeating Enppi SC 3-2 in the final match of the second round-robin stage, held on Saturday at Heliopolis Club Hall.
The Red Eagles produced a strong performance throughout the competition and recovered after losing the opening two matches to secure a 3–2 victory and clinch the title.
Al Ahly were represented by Youssef Abdel Aziz, Mohamed El Beili and Shady Magdy. Abdel Aziz lost the opening match 3–1, while El Beili also fell 3–1 in the second.
However, momentum shifted in Al Ahly’s favour as Magdy won the third match 3–2, Abdel Aziz claimed the fourth 3–2, before El Beili sealed the victory in the deciding rubber with a 3–1 win.
With the result, Al Ahly secured the league title after winning all their matches across both round-robin stages, finishing with 14 victories and no defeats.
