Al Ahly to open football academy branch in Saudi Arabia

Al Ahly Football Company said it has signed a cooperation agreement with Al Jawad Al Dhahabiya General Contracting to launch a new branch of its football academy in Saudi Arabia.

The move is part of the club’s regional expansion strategy and is aimed at strengthening its presence in the Middle East.

The academy will offer a training programme based on Al Ahly’s principles of commitment, discipline and teamwork.

It will focus on developing young players’ technical and physical skills and on identifying and nurturing talent to international standards.

The initiative will also enable Al Ahly to bring its technical and administrative expertise to new markets and support the development of a system designed to bolster the club’s profile and fan base.
