Al Ahly to provide free transport for members attending General Assembly

Al Ahly Sporting Club will provide free bus transportation for members traveling from its branches in Nasr City, Sheikh Zayed, and New Cairo to the club’s main headquarters in Gezira for an extraordinary general assembly scheduled for next Friday.

The meeting, set to run from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., will allow members to vote on the club’s new bylaws following the recent enactment of Sports Law No. 171 of 2025.

To facilitate participation, the club said it will post membership lists at prominent locations on the Gezira premises, enabling members to identify their designated voting committees. Information points will also be set up to assist with inquiries.

Additional services include the use of golf carts to transport members between club gates and voting stations, as well as free parking at nearby garages, including the Opera House, the Teachers’ Syndicate, and the West District.
