Al Merrikh Congratulate Al Ahly on Winning Club World Cup Bronze Medal 

Al Merrikh SC’s board member and the head of the club’s delegation to Cairo, Omar Mohamed Abdullah congratulated Al Ahly on winning the bronze medal of the FIFA Club World Cup.

“Al Ahly represented the African and Arab football in the best possible manner in the FIFA Club World Cup as usual. I hope that we can follow Al Ahly’s footsteps in order to accomplish great achievements”

“I would like to thank Al Ahly for the great hospitality for our delegation and I really appreciate their efforts to ease our mission since we arrived in Egypt.”

“Al Ahly will be treated the same when they arrive in Sudan, as Egypt and Sudan have tight and historic bilateral relations”, added Abdullah.

Abdullah handed Al Merrikh SC’s shield to Al Ahly’s Executive Director Mohamed Morgan, while Morgan also handed Al Ahly’s shield and flag to the head of the Sudanese club delegation.

The Red Eagles are set to face Al Merrikh SC on Tuesday in our opening game in the CAF Champions League group stage.
