Al Ahly’s men’s basketball team secured an 82-63 away win over Heliopolis on Monday to advance to the quarterfinals of the Egyptian League Championship.
The match, played at Heliopolis Club in Cairo, was the second leg of the Round of 16 in the domestic competition.
The Red Eagles had previously claimed a 79-50 home victory in the first leg.
The defending champions are aiming to retain their domestic title, which they won last season with a triumph over Ittihad of Alexandria in the final.
