Al Ahly midfielder Emam Ashour has been admitted to hospital with severe abdominal pain and is suspected to be suffering from gastroenteritis, the club’s medical team said on Monday.
Club doctor Ahmed Gaballah confirmed that Ashour will remain under medical supervision for three days and will undergo comprehensive tests to determine the cause of his symptoms.
“Emam will stay in hospital for three days under medical observation, after which he will undergo further examinations to ensure a full recovery,” Gaballah said.
