Al Ahly renew partnership with global energy company ‘Shell’

Al Ahly Football Company announced on Monday the renewal of its partnership with global energy company ‘Shell’ for a further four years, in a move that reflects the strength of the club’s brand and their appeal to leading international companies.

The signing ceremony was attended by Al Ahly president Mahmoud El Khatib, board members Tarek Kandil, Mohamed El Gharhy, Ahmed Hossam Awad, Hazem Helal, Rowaida Hesham and Ibrahim El Amary, as well as the club’s executive director, Khaled Morsi.

Also in attendance were Ayman Fathy, chairman of Al Ahly Football Company; Haitham Yehia, chairman and CEO of Shell Lubricants; Khaled Seif, regional marketing director; and Saif El Waziry, chairman of United Media Services.

The partnership agreement was signed by Nayera Ali, executive director of Al Ahly Football Company; Mohamed Yehia Lotfy, chairman of United Sports; and Samir Mahgoub, Shell’s marketing manager for the Middle East, Egypt and Central Asia.

The renewed partnership forms part of Al Ahly Football Company’s strategy, in cooperation with United Sports Services, to attract leading global brands and expand investment and sponsorship opportunities associated with the club.
