Al Ahly maintained their perfect start to the Egyptian Handball League with a commanding 32-19 victory over Smouha on Friday.
The Cairo club took early control of the match at their home venue, leading 15-10 at halftime before pulling further ahead in the second period.
Al Ahly, who beat Tersana 30-20 in the previous round, continued their dominant form as they look to defend their league title.
Smouha, based in Alexandria, struggled to match the pace and precision of the reigning champions, who remain unbeaten in the new campaign.
