Al Ahly women’s handball player, Sondos Hashana reflected on the team’s 24-23 victory over Alexandria Sporting Club in the Egyptian League.

“I am very happy for the victory. Sporting played a great game, especially when they were attacking during the second half. However, the instructions of our coaching staff, led by Yehia Youssef, contributed to the team’s victory in the dying seconds of the game.”

“On a different note, I adapted very well to the club’s atmosphere. I like the team’s spirit and I believe that we are able to win the treble.”

“Lastly, I’d like to thank our coaching staff and our head coach for all their efforts throughout the last period.”

The Red Eagles currently sit at the top of the league table with 77 points from 26 games in the competition.
