Aya Hesham of Al Ahly's karate team secured the bronze medal at the Karate World Championships in Egypt, held from 28 to 30 November.
The women’s individual kata competition was fiercely contested, with Hesham producing a standout performance to claim third place, defeating a competitor from the Greek national team in the process.
Hesham’s achievement underscores the strength of Al Ahly’s karate program, highlighting the club’s top-tier talent and its contribution to Egypt’s strong showing at the championship.
