Ambassador Abo El Wafa: Al Ahly Have a Huge Fan Base in Tanzania

Egypt’s Ambassador to Tanzania, Mohamed Gaber Abo El Wafa said that Al Ahly have a huge fan base in Tanzania, adding that the football fans in Tanzania supported Al Ahly in the 2020 FIFA Club World Cup.

“Al Ahly have a huge fan base in Tanzania and the fans of the two biggest clubs in the country, Simba SC and Young Africans FC, supported Al Ahly in the FIFA Club World Cup as Al Ahly represented the whole continent in the competition.”

“I am so happy that Al Ahly will play here in Tanzania as sports play an important role in boosting Egypt’s relations with African countries.”
