Al Ahly Hold First Training at Stade des Martyrs

Al Ahly’s first-team carried out the team’s first training session in the Democratic Republic of Congo on Sunday at Stade des Martyrs that will host our match against AS Vita Club on Tuesday.

The training began with a quick meeting between our head coach Pitso Mosimane and the players to discuss several tactical points related to the match.

The stadium will host the team’s training sessions on Sunday and Monday, as per the rules and regulations of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

The CAF allows the away team to have two training sessions at the home team's ground prior to the match if the stadium has an artificial turf field. 

The Red Eagles are set to face DR Congo's AS Vita Club in the fourth fixture of the CAF Champions League group stage on Tuesday.
