Special Program for Al Ahly Players Ahead of Simba’s Game

 Al Ahly's head of medical staff, Dr. Ahmed Abu Abla prepared a special program for the players to adapt to the high levels of humidity and the very hot weather ahead of facing Simba SC of Tanzania. 

“The medical staff prepared this program to help the players adapt to the weather here in Tanzania while abiding by the precautionary measures amid the COVID-19 pandemic.” 

“We told the coaching staff that the players must spend some time outside their rooms to get exposed to the sunlight which will help the players adapt to the weather.”

“The players will not adapt to this hot weather if they left their rooms only to attend the training sessions.”

“The coaching staff allows the players to stay outside their rooms for several hours in the sun, which minimizes the effect of the harsh weather on the players during the match."

Al Ahly are set to face Simba SC in the second round of the CAF Champions League group stage at 3:00 PM on Tuesday.
