Saleh Reveals Details of El Khatib’s Meeting with the Planning Committee

Mohsen Saleh, head of Al Ahly’s Planning Committee, revealed the details related to President Mahmoud El Khatib's meeting with the Planning Committee.

The meeting aimed at removing any obstacles facing the directors of the club's various departments, in order to execute the strategies, which were agreed upon before the start of the season.   

The meeting witnessed the presence of Khaed Bibo, Head of the Youth Sector, Abdelmoneim Shatta, Head of the club's Academies, Fathy Mabrouk, Head of the Scouting Sector, and Amir Tawfik, Director of the Marketing and Transfers departments.

Saleh revealed that they discussed with Bibo the requirements of the teams that participate in the national competitions and the players needed to strengthen these squads, in order to cope with any injuries that face these teams. Fathy Mabrouk was asked to nominate new players for these teams.

The meeting also discussed the situation of the youth teams as most of our youth teams are topping the table of their categories in the national competitions.

Also, the meeting pointed out several players in the youth teams who have a chance to get promoted to the first team after being closely monitored in order to evaluate their technique, fitness and behavior.

Saleh added that they discussed with Shatta the opening of new branches of the academy in several areas and the requirements of opening these branches, such as: having training equipment, kits and football fields.

Shatta revealed that a plan has been adopted to open new branches in different areas in Egypt in the next period.

Saleh also added that they discussed with Tawfik several important files such as marketing our players. Lastly, they discussed with Tawfik, the transfers of the players; whether those who will join the club or those who will be loaned out or have the opportunity to play abroad.
