
Al Ahly vs Palmeiras: Match Details Announced
The technical meeting for Al Ahly’s match against Brazil’s Palmeiras in the third-place playoff of the FIFA Club World Cup was held today in the team’s residency in Doha.
Al Ahly was represented by the following in today’s meeting:
- Khaled Mortagy: Club's Board Member and Al Ahly’s coordinator for the FIFA,
- Sayed Abdelhafiz: Al Ahly’s Director of Football,
- Samir Adly: Al Ahly’s Administrative Director,
- Gamal Gabr: Head of Al Ahly’s Media Center,
- Amr Moheb: Al Ahly’s Interpreter,
- Amir Tawfik: Head of Al Ahly’s Transfers and Marketing Departments,
- Ashraf Omar: Deputy Head of Al Ahly's Transfers and Marketing Departments,
- Hanan El Zeiny: Al Ahly’s Head of Licensing and Regulations,
- Maher Abdelaziz and Raafat Ibrahim: Team’s Administrators.
Al Ahly players will wear red shirts, white shorts, and red socks in the game, while our goalkeeper will wear an all-blue kit.
Whereas the players of Palmeiras will wear white shirts, green shorts, and white socks, and the opponent's goalkeeper will wear an all-yellow kit.
Additionally, it was confirmed during the meeting that if there is a draw after the end of the 90 minutes, both teams will directly head to penalties and will not play extra time.
Moreover, both teams are expected to follow all the precautionary and preventive measures that are set to combat the spread of COVID-19.
Finally, both teams are expected to arrive at Education City Stadium, one hour and 30 minutes before the kick-off.
