Rabia: We Still Have 90 Minutes to Play

CAF Champions League, Tenth Star, Football

Ramy Rabia, Al Ahly’s defender, weighed in on Al Ahly’s upcoming game against Mamelodi Sundowns in the second leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.

“We managed to press Sundowns very well and score two goals in the first leg; however, that doesn’t mean that we qualified for the next round.  Sundowns have a lot of top-quality players and they play great football.”

“Moreover, we still have 90 minutes to play on Saturday in South Africa, where we will be aiming to qualify to the semi-finals of the competition.”

“Given that we have a 2-0 lead from the first leg and that there are only 90 minutes remaining until we achieve our goal; we will do our best in order to make sure that we qualify and continue our journey in winning the club’s 10th CAF Champions League title.”

“Our fans support Al Ahly and back all the players, despite whoever participates; as what matters the most is Al Ahly. Finally, all the players are keen to represent Al Ahly in a way that suits the African Club of the Century.”
