Al Ahly men’s volleyball team claimed the Egyptian Super Cup title on Monday after defeating Zamalek 3-1 in the final at the Hassan Mostafa Hall.
The victory marks the fourth consecutive time "The Red Eagles" have secured the trophy.
Al Ahly dominated the early stages of the match, taking the first set 25-16 and the second 25-15.
Zamalek forced a fourth set after a narrow 31-29 win in the third, but Al Ahly closed out the match with a 25-21 victory in the final frame.
Al Ahly reached the final without dropping a set, following 3-0 victories over Al Ittihad and Petrojet in the earlier rounds of the tournament.
