Former Al Ahly head coach Jose Riveiro held a farewell meeting on Monday with members of the club’s administrative and medical staff, as well as the kit room personnel, following the end of his tenure with the first team.

Al Ahly have parted company with first-team coach José Riveiro and his staff by mutual consent on Sunday.

Defending champions Al Ahly suffered a 2-0 defeat to Pyramids FC in the fifth round of the Egyptian Premier League at El Salam Stadium on Saturday.
