Al Ahly’s senior team coaching staff have set 14 October as the date for the team’s delegation to travel to Uganda ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup opener against Kitara FC.
Football director Wael Gomaa said the travel date was agreed upon in coordination with the coaching staff and in line with the team’s preparations for the upcoming match.
Gomaa added that the club is currently coordinating with the Egyptian Embassy in Uganda to finalize arrangements for the team’s trip and ensure the delegation’s comfort throughout its stay in the country.
Al Ahly will face Kitara FC on 17 October in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup round of 32.
