In a landmark move for sports investment in the region, Al Ahly has signed the largest sports investment deal in the Middle East with Vodafone, granting the telecommunications company the naming rights to the club's new stadium.

Al Ahly Football Company has finalized all agreements with Barcelona following a short visit to Spain by a delegation comprising board member Ahmed Hossam Awad and CEO Nayera Ali.

The General Assembly of Al Ahly Football Company held its ordinary meeting today at the club’s headquarters on Gezira, attended by Al Ahly President Mahmoud El Khatib, Vice Chairman Yasseen Mansour, Treasurer Khaled Mortagy, board member Ahmed Hossam Awad, and Executive Director Saad Shelaby.
