Sayed Abdelhafiz, the club’s director of football, conveyed his thoughts on the team’s 3-2 victory over Ghazl El Mahalla SC in the fifth fixture of the Egyptian Premier League at El Mahalla’s stadium.

“We played a great game against a tough opponent. El Mahalla didn’t lose since the start of the season and they have a good coaching staff.”

“I would to thank the players for their determination to win the game. Despite conceding the equalizer in the dying minutes of the game, yet our players fought back and showed a great will to win the match.”

“In the modern world of football comebacks occur very often and we prepared ourselves for more than one scenario to the game. There isn’t something called an easy game; therefore, we respect all of our opponents and we always play to win. ”

We now move on to the next match against Smouha which is also an important game. As for Hossam Hassan, he suffered a knock. Maaloul also felt his hamstring towards the end of the game. Both of them will have medical scans on Tuesday.
