Ahmed Abu Abla, head of the team’s medical staff, stated that Ayman Ashraf, our defender, recovered from his knee injury and will train with the team on Monday.
Abu Abla said that Ashraf completed his recovery program and underwent several medical tests, which confirmed that he is fit to rejoin the team's training session.
Our defender was sidelined after picking up a knee injury while participating with the Egyptian national team in the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup.
Furthermore, our team’s doctor said that Mohamed El Shenawy, the team’s captain and goalkeeper, does not suffer from any injury and is fit to participate in the CAF Super Cup.
Abu Abla added that El Shenawy was rested from Sunday’s training session to avoid overload or fatigue, as he just finished his participation in the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup.
