Al Amry Farouk, Al Ahly’s vice president and the head of the team’s delegation in Sudan, thanked Hossam Eissa, Egypt's ambassador to Sudan and the embassy’s officials, for their efforts upon the arrival of the team.
Farouk praised the efforts of the embassy officials to finalize the entry of the delegation and their initiative to provide full support to the delegation during their stay in Sudan.
The Red Eagles are set to face Sudan’s Al Hilal on Friday in Matchday 2 of the CAF Champions League group stage.
