Sayed Abdelhafiz, the club’s director of football, spoke following the team’s 0-0 draw against Al Hilal in the second fixture of the CAF Champions League group stage.
In his post-match interview, Abdelhafiz gave his thoughts on the game and talked about the team’s preparations for our upcoming game.
“We tried to win despite playing in tough conditions. We had a chance to win at the end of the game but Afsha’s shot hit the post. However, it’s just the start of a new journey in the CAF Champions League.”
“Our focus now shifts to the next game against Misr Lel Makkasa in the domestic league on Saturday.”
The Red Eagles are set to face Misr Lel Makkasa SC in the Egyptian League on Tuesday.
