The Reds were held to a 1-1 draw with Pyramids after an intense game in the Egyptian Premier League at 30 June Stadium.
The Eagles started strong, controlling the midfield and creating several chances through Emam Ashour, Wessam Abou Ali, and Hussein El Shahat, but couldn’t find the back of the net.
In the 25th minute, Yahya Attiat Allah was forced off with an injury and replaced by Karim El Debes. Despite continuous pressure and multiple attacks, the first half ended goalless.
After the break, the Eagles maintained their momentum. In the 55th minute, Wessam Abou Ali was brought down inside the box, but the referee waved play on. The match grew more physical, and Pyramids were reduced to 10 men after Mohanad Lasheen was sent off with a second yellow card.
Against the run of play, Mohamed El Sheebey put Pyramids ahead in the 86th minute. However, in stoppage time, substitute Ahmed Reda, who replaced El Debes, scored the equalizer. The referee then blew the final whistle, with each team earning a point.
