Afsha: We Will Do Our Best to Win the Bronze Medal

Mohamed Magdy Afsha, Al Ahly’s football first-team attacking player, talked following our game against Palmeiras in the semi-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup.

In his post-match interview, Afsha apologized to the fans for the defeat and stated that the team will do their best to win the bronze medal.

“We’re not happy with the result, as we were looking to make history by qualifying to the final. All the players are depressed for the fans, who wanted to see us in the final.”

“This current squad has great qualities and I am sure that all of us will be keen to come back to the FIFA Club World Cup next year.”

Al Ahly’s football first team lost to Palmeiras of Brazil 2-0 in the semi-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup on Tuesday.
