Al Ahly winger Mahmoud “Trezeguet” Hassan will miss Tuesday’s match against Enppi in the sixth round of the Egyptian Premier League’s final phase due to a knee injury.
Club doctor Ahmed Gaballah said Trezeguet suffered a cut above his left knee that required five stitches.
The 31-year-old sustained the injury during Friday’s 3-0 win over Zamalek in the league.
Gaballah added that defender Yasser Ibrahim has resumed group training after recovering from a severe bruise to the ribs and abdomen, which he picked up during the match against Pyramids FC.
He also noted that Youssef Belammari has begun gradually rejoining group training in Monday’s session after recovering from an adductor muscle tear.
