Al Ahly’s international players will rejoin team training on Friday, 3 April, after completing national team duties during the current international break.
The Cairo club resumed regular training at El Tetsh Stadium on Sunday as they prepare for the final phase of the Egyptian Premier League season.
Egypt have called up several Al Ahly players, including goalkeepers Mohamed El Shenawy and Mostafa Shobeir; defenders Yasser Ibrahim and Mohamed Hany; midfielders Ahmed Nabil Kouka, Marwan Attia and Emam Ashour; and wingers Mahmoud Hassan “Trezeguet” and Ahmed Sayed “Zizo”.
Midfielder Aliou Dieng has linked up with Mali, while striker Ieltsin Camoes has joined Cape Verde for international friendlies scheduled during the FIFA window.
