Al Ahly SC sent an official letter to the Egyptian Football Association and EPL Commitee requesting a rematch for our previous league game against National Bank of Egypt SC due to the mistake of the match referee and the VAR which disallowed a rightful goal causing the team to lose two important points in their title race.
The club made sure to point out in the letter that the mistake that both the match referee and VAR committed contradicts the rules which were sent by the International Football Association Board (IFAB) to all the football associations around the world.
