Al Ahly have signed goalkeeper Hamza Alaa on a three-and-a-half-year contract.
Football director Walid Salah Eldin finalised the deal with the 24-year-old, who expressed his satisfaction after putting pen to paper.
“I will do my best with my teammates during the coming period to meet expectations,” Alaa said.
Alaa impressed with Egypt’s youth and Olympic national teams, helping the Pharaohs to a fourth-place finish at the Paris Olympics.
He briefly joined Portimonense in Portugal’s second division before returning to Al Ahly.
