Al Ahly will face Spanish club CF Badalona on Wednesday, 12 August, in the first friendly of their current training camp in Spain as they prepare for the new season.
The coaching staff will use the match to assess the players’ physical and technical readiness and improve understanding between the team’s different lines.
The Red Eagles are stepping up their daily training, holding two sessions a day, morning and evening, while increasing the physical workload to get the players into the best possible physical and technical shape.
Al Ahly are currently holding a pre-season training camp in Spain, which will run until 20 August.
