Al Ahly will lay the foundation stone for its new branch in New Mansoura City on Monday, with the club's board of directors, headed by president Mahmoud El Khatib, presiding over the ceremony.
The club said invitations have been extended to several government ministers, public figures and leading sports personalities to attend the event.
The project forms part of Al Ahly's expansion strategy, under which Al Ahly Sports Facilities Company, chaired by engineer Tamer Nasser, has been tasked with prioritizing the development of new club branches across Egypt's governorates.
The first agreement under the initiative was signed with Delta Capital for Real Estate Development, headed by Abdel Hadi Farhat, alongside Nations of Sky, led by Tamer Nabil, to develop the club's new branch in New Mansoura City.
