Al Ahly’s management has announced it will provide a fleet of free buses to transport club members from its branches in Nasr City, Sheikh Zayed, and New Cairo to the main headquarters in El Gezira.
The initiative is designed to facilitate member participation in the upcoming elections, set for 31 October, where a new board of directors will be elected to lead the club for the next four years.
Offering round-trip transportation from all branches is part of the club’s broader effort to streamline the voting process and boost turnout at the General Assembly.
Under the club’s internal regulations, a minimum of 5,000 members must attend for the election to meet the required quorum.
