As part of the tight historical relations between Sudan and Egypt, Al Ahly SC accepted Al Merrikh SC’s request to play their home games of the CAF Champions League group stage at Al Ahly WE Al Salam Stadium.
The club’s board of directors also made sure to state that Al Ahly is willing to offer any kind of support needed to the Sudanese team (Al Merrikh) during their time in Egypt.
