Al Ahly’s football first team delegation tested negative for COVID-19 ahead of the team’s trip to Morroco on Tuesday.
Ahmed Abu Abla, the team’s doctor, confirmed that Al Ahly’s delegation headed by Mahmoud El Khatib, the club’s president, all tested negative after undergoing a COVID-19 test last Sunday.
The Red Eagles will head to Casablanca on Tuesday to face Raja of Morroco on Friday at Stade Mohammed V in the second leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.
Al Ahly was able to defeat Raja in the first leg, which was held on Saturday, 2-1 at Al Ahly WE Al Salam Stadium.
