Al Ahly doctor Ahmed Gaballah has confirmed that midfielder Emam Ashour will undergo new medical tests within the next 48 hours to evaluate his recovery progress.
The results of these tests will determine the appropriate time for Ashour to begin his physical rehabilitation program before rejoining full team training.
Gaballah added that the player recently underwent detailed medical examinations, which showed significant improvement in his condition.
The Red Eagles are preparing to face Petrojet on Wednesday in the Egyptian Premier League.
