Al Ahly medical staff headed by Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, announced that first-team player Amr El Gazzar has successfully undergone surgery in Germany.
The surgery, performed at a hospital in Munich under the supervision of German specialist Christian Bral, involved arthroscopic reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee, along with a repair of the medial meniscus.
El Gazzar is scheduled to return to Cairo with Dr. Ahmed Gaballah next Friday, when he will begin the first phase of his rehabilitation.
