Mahmoud El Khatib, Al Ahly’s president, made sure to attend Al Ahly’s football first-team training session on Wednesday at El Tetsh Stadium to hold a meeting with the team ahead of Friday’s game.
During his meeting with the team, El Khatib told them that he has full confidence in everyone and that they are able to meet the expectations of the fans.
The Red Eagles are currently preparing for Friday's match against Al Merrikh in the fifth fixture of the CAF Champions League group stage.
