El Nahas: We achieved our target despite absentees

Al Ahly’s interim coach Emad El Nahas confirmed that the Red Eagles secured an important victory over Haras El Hodoud, gaining several positives at a crucial stage of the season.

“We spoke extensively with the players before the game and studied the opponent well. Some unexpected scenarios occurred, but in the end, we achieved our objective,” El Nahas said during the post-match press conference.

“We are missing some key players, but we’ve managed to maintain the squad’s balance. Abdelkader played today and delivered an excellent performance,” he added.

“It’s an important win ahead of the Zamalek match. Every player is equally important, and the coaching staff has its own strategy. We’re working to make the most of every player and protect them from injuries,” El Nahas continued.

He emphasized that the team created numerous chances against Haras El Hodoud, but acknowledged that luck can be a deciding factor at times.

El Nahas concluded by affirming that the coaching staff is constantly working to correct mistakes and improve the team's overall performance.
