Raouf Abdelkader, general director of sports activities, confirmed that Angel Hernandez, the Cuban handball player, arrived in Cairo in order to participate with Al Ahly in the African Handball Super Cup.
Hernandez will train with our men’s handball team in the upcoming days to prepare for Friday’s decisive encounter against Zamalek in the African Handball Super Cup.
On a different note, our men’s handball team was crowned champions of the African Handball Cup Winners' Cup after defeating Morroco's Widad Smara 29-24 in the final match of the competition.
